Activities: 2 rides daily, grooming, tacking up, feeding, bathing, braiding, stable management, preparation for a show, parts of the horse saddle and bridle, breeds colors and markings, bandaging.
Our Camp Mission: At C.R.E.C all campers will experience a safe and fun way to learn different aspects involved with the equestrian sport. Campers will learn all fundamentals of caring for a horse while improving thier riding skills.
Each camper will be assigned a horse to care for the week. All campers will ride twice daily with the morning ride consisting of a lesson and the afternoon being a trail ride.
Each day campers will experience something new or improve their skills off the horse in activities like bathing, braiding, tack cleaning while each day enhancing and improving their ring work and riding skills.
We close out the week with a fun day consisting of a small horse show and a Bar-B-Q lunch. This is a great experience and an excellent opportunity to meet new friends.
